A world record is being prepared in the countries of Central Asia.

Ellie Dunnington, the only female pilot who has flown a hot air balloon in more than 100 countries, is preparing to set a world record.
Ms. Dunnington asked us to help organize balloon flights in the countries of Central Asia.

The first country of the Central Asian run for the world record was Kazakhstan. On 5^th of October, 2024, an international crew of Ellie Dunnington (Great Britain), Lais Pinho (Brazil) and Alexander Shilin (Russia) took off in the morning from the Fabrichny airfield in Almaty. Four more crews from different regions of Kazakhstan took off with the foreign guests.
Kazakhstan became the 116th country for Ellie Dunnington.

The second country to host the record maker was Kyrgyzstan. In the evening of October 6, 2024, a hot air balloon flight took place near the cliffs of the Ala-Archa gorge.
Kyrgyzstan became the 117th country for Ellie Dunnington.

The final stage of the record is planned in Uzbekistan.
In honor of this event, with the support of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the State Committee for Tourism Development, it is planned to hold the First International Hot Air Balloon Festival "Musaffo Osmon" (Peaceful Sky) in the cities of Shakhrisabz and Khiva.
