The second stage of the first international festival "Musaffo Osmon" took place in Khiva.

On October 13-14, 2024, the second flight of the First International Festival of Hot Air Balloons "Musaffo Osmon" took place in the Ichan-Kala complex in the city of Khiva. The event, organized with the support of the Tourism Committee, attracted the attention of both local residents and foreign guests.

Ellie Dunnington, a German pilot who took part in the festival, made her world record by flying over Khiva. Uzbekistan became the 118th country where Ellie Dunnington flew.

Aeronauts from Brazil, Germany, Kazakhstan, Russia and Uzbekistan also took off from the Ichan-Kala complex into the sky of Khiva.

The government of Uzbekistan aims to open up new opportunities for women in the country. In this regard, Ellie Dunnington intends to help the Federation of Aeronautics of Uzbekistan to run a flight school, also for future female pilots, opening their way to the sky. The festival is expected to give a new impetus to the development of aeronautics as a separate way of ​​tourism and recreation, and will also diversify services for tourists

A series of Musaffo Osmon festivals are planned for next year, will become a vivid example of Uzbekistan's hospitality.
